INSO Lemberg shows what can be achieved when passion, emotion and virtuosity set the tone. When the Swiss conductor Gunhard Mattes founded the orchestra in the cultural city of Lemberg in 1998, he had no way of anticipating the overwhelming response his young musicians would elicit.

Their excellent quality and captivating stage presence impressed the public and music experts alike. Within just a few years, Gunhard Mattes formed a topnotch orchestra that has audiences beyond the borders sitting up and taking notice.
